The 4th Redeemer, an Archangel of Flame, was the last angel among the sacred emissaries. He descended from Heaven, imbued with Divine Wrath, in humanities final hours held up inside the walls of Axis Mundi, at the height of the Great Surge. Phaionios wielded a holy weapon of unmatched devastation with one fell swoop crushed the demon horde, sending waves of divine fire emanating from Axis Mundi & throughout Creation - thousands of refugees, paladins, & artisans were caught in the blaze becoming Lost Souls, only Anatolia was spared. He helped Armozel launch the first crusade to push back the Dark Lord’s incursion to the edge of the known world with a paladin force - the Sons of the Light. Before his heroic ascension back to heaven he sealed Mt Medula to hold back any further corruption from below, and was said to wield a powerful sword tied to the magic of light which diminished the forces of darkness.
